My father owned and operated an assisted living facility designed for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Many factors contributed to providing a high quality service for residents and their families, but staffing well was of the most important.

From the business perspective, it's a delicate balance in providing the optimal number of staff while keeping expenses in check. I was always impressed with how this balance was achieved in scheduling nurses and nursing assistants and thought it deserved to be put into software package and shared with others.

During my graduate studies, I was introduced to coding while working on a financial modeling project. I fell in love with it and began delving deeper into programming. Armed with new tools, I took my father's Excel version of the scheduling application and brought it to the web.

We're pleased with how the application continues to develop. Our objective is to simplify the complexity of staffing through intuitive software and common sense approaches to management.
